Alberta B. Kipp Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Alberta B. Kipp, age 99, of Sayreville, NJ, passed away on July 23, 2022. She was born on July 7, 1923, in Morrisville, PA, the daughter of the late Albert W. and Laura M. (Galvin) Barber. When Alberta was 7 years old, she and her family moved to New Jersey. She attended St. Mary’s grammar school and graduated in the class of 1941 from St. Mary’s High School. She later took a job in New York where she was employed by the Pennsylvania Railroad as a reservation agent. She returned to New Jersey in 1951 to start and raise her family. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will deeply missed by family and friends. In addition to her parents, Alberta was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert G. Kipp and her son, Kenneth R. Kipp of Parker, CO. She is survived by her son, James R. Kipp (Mary) of Bridgeville, DE; her sister, Marie Domenick (Robert) of Pinebrook, NJ; four grandchildren, Timothy Kipp (Susan), Joshua Kipp (Janis), David Kipp, and Daniel Kipp (Lisa); four great-grandchildren, Wyatt Kipp, Austin Kipp, Jace Kipp, and Emma Kipp. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 27 at 1:00PM at St. George’s Anglican Church, 56 Main Street, Helmetta, NJ. A luncheon reception will follow the services. Final care has been entrusted to Watson-Yates Funeral Homes Seaford, DE.
