Emily Marie Windsor Holloway White Emily Marie Windsor Holloway White, age 87, of Seaford, DE passed away on Tuesday, January 11, 2022, at TidalHealth Nanticoke, in Seaford, DE. She was born on April 30, 1934, in Seaford, DE, daughter of the late William Thurman Windsor and Violet (Robinson) Windsor. Mrs. White was a 1952 graduate of Seaford High School. After high school, she worked for Josephine’s Department Store, H.O. Kline Transfer Company, Seaford Garment Company Gant’s Shirt Factory, and N.C.R. Corporation in Millsboro, DE. In 1981 after moving to Liberty, SC, Mrs. White worked for N.C.R. Corporation in Liberty, SC, for 21 years. Her faith was an anchor for her and was a longtime member of the Mt. Zion Methodist Church of Laurel, DE and the Rhauhamas Baptist Church of Liberty, SC. The time spent with those she held most dear was what she most cherished. Mrs. White was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Loved by many, she will be deeply missed by all who knew her. In addition to her parents, Mrs. White was preceded in death by her husband, Irvin Daniel Albert White in 2005; her first husband, Vernon H. Holloway; and her newborn baby boy, Kim Holloway in 1964; her in-laws, Oscar Holloway and Carrie (Hastings) Holloway; Walter Murray White and Dorothy (Steininger) White; her brother, William Thurman Windsor, Jr., her sisters: Ruth Elizabeth Whaley, Frances (Sarah) Sheridan, Alice Mae Parks, her sisters: Doris Louella Massey Williams, her sisters-in-law, Rosalie Holloway Mutchler, Meridel White West, Ida White Widdowson, and Amanda White Tauber; and a brother-in-law, Murray White; her stepdaughter, Sharan White. She is survived by her son, Vernon Hastings Holloway, her stepson, Michael Irvin White; her grandsons: Vernon Hastings Holloway, III and Joseph Lee Holloway; sister Jean Carolyn Dukes; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, January 24, 2022, at 11:00 AM at Watson-Yates Funeral Home, 609 East King Street, Seaford, DE, where friends may call beginning at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow the services at 12:00 PM at Blades Cemetery, 1000 Market St/13A, Blades DE 19973.
