Angela Marie Collins' Obituary
Angela M Collins, age 52, of Seaford, DE, died Saturday, September 11, 2021, at Christiana Hospital in Newark, DE. She was the daughter of Darlene (Hitchens) Gray and the late William J. Gray.
Angela was the owner of Styles By Us salon from 1996 until her retirement in 2007. She has also worked at Family Hair Cuttery from 1987-1996 and was a member of St. John's United Church in Seaford. Angela loved doing crafts, photography, going shopping and the area beaches. She especially loved cheering on her son Trevor whenever he was racing, as well as taking care of her special "furbabies."
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by maternal grandparents: Hildred and Rebecca Grace Hitchens; and paternal grandparents: William T. and Lelia B. Gray.
She is survived by her loving husband: Alan S. Collins, Jr. of Seaford, DE and her son Trevor A. Collins of Seaford, DE. 2 brothers: Mark E. Gray of Dagsboro, DE and Michael W. Gray of Millsboro, DE; brother-in-laws David A. Collins of Virginia and Dennis A. Collins of Millsboro, DE; Father-in-law: Alan Collins Sr and wife Sandy Collins of Millsboro, DE and mother-in-law Fay Collins of Seaford DE.
A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, September 21, 2021, at 11:00 AM at Watson-Yates Funeral Home and Crematorium, a Parsell Family Funeral Home, 609 E. King St., Seaford, DE 19973, where friends may call beginning at 10:00 AM. Interment will be held following the services at Hillcrest Cemetery, Federalsburg, MD.
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic social distancing protocols must be observed and masks must be worn by everyone participating in any aspect of the service.
