Anna Grace Evans Dean, a cherished member of the Maynardville community and a beacon of love and kindness to all who knew her. Born on January 2, 1941, in the rolling hills of Maynardville, Tennessee, Anna's journey through life was marked by her unwavering warmth and the joy she brought to others. She passed away peacefully on May 7, 2024, in Seaford, Delaware, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.
Anna was the beloved matriarch of a large and loving family. She is survived by her devoted sons, Doug Dean and his wife Ann, Deric Dean and his wife Lori, her caring siblings, Helen Evans, Mildred Watson, and Charlie Evans with his wife Alice. Her spirit will live on through her adoring niece, Barbara Jefferson, and her treasured grandchildren, Ashley Pate, Chase Dean, Jeremy Dean, Hunter Dean, Nick Dean, and Breanna Dean. Anna's great-grandchildren, Jarett, Jackson, Jevan, Jace, Junior, Blake, Matthew, Wyatt, Arabella, Luke, Georgia, Brielle, Ridge, and Cage, will grow up hearing stories of her kindness and grace.
Anna was predeceased by her loving husband Charles Dean, her son Dennis Dean, her parents Willie and Nell Evans, and her siblings Ruby, Cleo, Joyce, and Jonny Evans, Anna's memory will be a guiding light for all who were part of her life.
Anna dedicated her life to her family as a homemaker, creating a warm and welcoming home for all. Her love for playing Rummy, enjoying the great outdoors, and spending time with her family were the simple pleasures that filled her days. Anna's love for TV game shows was only matched by her love for her family.
Her memory will be cherished and celebrated, as she has left an indelible mark on this world.
A Graveside Service Will be held on Saturday May 18,2024 at 11:00 Am at Odd Fellows Cemetery 514 3rd Street. Seaford Delaware 19973.
