Betty Ann Taylor's Obituary
FLORIST NOTE: PLEASE DELIVER ALL ARRANGEMENTS BY 3PM SATURDAY, JUNE 20, 2020 TO WATSON-YATES FUNERAL HOME.
Betty Ann (Wallace) Taylor, age 92 of Salisbury, MD, left our lives to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, June 15, 2020. She was born on March 24, 1928 in Dames Quarter, MD, daughter of the late Norman I. and Bessie (Daniel) Wallace.
Betty’s interests were many and varied. She loved the history of lighthouses on the Eastern Shore, traveling, and fishing. Betty was a talented gardener, as evidenced by her beautiful gladiolus and zinnias. She was an avid Baltimore Orioles fan and never got tired of watching and talking about her favorite team. Betty enjoyed traveling, fishing, and cooking oyster fritters and crab cakes, a skill she passed onto to her children and grandchildren. Above all, Betty cherished time spent with those she held most dear. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend whose contagious smile, great sense of humor, outlook on life, and generous heart will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by 3 loving husbands: Henry A. Morris, Christopher O. White, and C. Wesley Taylor; her grandson, Danial S. Rosemary; her brothers: Norman M. Wallace, Robert Wallace, and Irving Wallace; her sisters: Dorothy Andrews, Elva Thomas, and Hellen Bloodsworth; her toddler siblings: Orville Wallace and Bessie Pauline Wallace; and her son-in-law, Mark J. Rhodes. She is survived by her children: Wanda L. Rhodes, Veronica A. Rosemary (Edward), Douglas A. Morris (Tracy), and Rick L. Morris; her brother, James Wallace; her sister, Peggy Hill; her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many extended family members from her marriages to C.O. White and Wesley Taylor, whom she loved as her own.
