I wish we had been in closer contact over these years, as I have lived in Southern Maryland, since graduating the
UofMiami in 1968
I remember Brina from her work at Citrus Grove and at Miami High.
That cap is perfect for how we would remember her. She never pulled out the "paddle", but she had a way of getting you to participate and offer a kind word afterwords regardless of the quality of the submission.

I have known about Briana for many years since we attended Miami Senior High together Class of "63. I really got to know her after we graduated and continued ro go to our High School Reuions. She was involved in so many school acrtivities, especially the yearbook. During a normal conversation I found out that she lived in the same town as my cousin and I immediatly called him and they met and became frends after that reunion. She was a ball of energy and always had a smile and something nice and caring to say. I feel blessed that we were able to establish a long distance friendship and connect by phone. My sincere condolences to Brian and the entire family.....please know that she will never be forgotten and her memory will always be for a blessing. ❤️🙏

We are grateful to have known Brina. She taught us how to play MahJong but beyond that how to be strong and courageous when facing difficult medical issues. She was a friend to all who knew her. We will remember her always.

Brina and I met over Mah Jongg and quickly became good friends. She was the strongest woman I have ever knew. Her strength over the past few years was a testament of just how strong she was. There was never a phone call where we didn’t say we loved each other when we hung up. To her family I hope the memories that you have will get you through this sad time. Rest in peace dear friend until we meet again.
