David Lee Salisbury's Obituary
David Lee Salisbury, age 73, of Bridgeville, DE, passed away peacefully after a brief battle with cancer at Milford Hospice on Friday, March 28, 2025. He was born on February 22, 1952, in Clay County, West Virginia, to the late Delford and Reatha (Bragg) Salisbury.
David graduated from Brown Tech High School, Class of 1969. He spent much of his career working as a line worker for General Motors, where he was dedicated to his craft. In addition to his work, David had a passion for the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and bowling, and was a proud member of the Elks Club.
David shared his life with his beloved wife, Margaret "Peggy" Salisbury. Together, they raised a family that he cherished deeply. He is survived by his sons, Brian and Ben (Vanessa); his grandson, Jake; granddaughters, Bianca and Briella; his loyal dog, Bodie; and his sister, Joyce Spicer (Maynard). David also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, and close friends who stood by him until the end.
In addition to his parents, Davis was predeceased by his sister, Donna Parish.
The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to friends and family for their unwavering support during this difficult time.
