Doris Claire Kirkner's Obituary
Doris Claire Kirkner, age 78, of Laurel, DE, passed away on Sunday, February 8, 2026, at Genesis - Lofland Park Center in Seaford, DE. She was born on July 28, 1947, in Baltimore, MD, daughter of the late John Randolph Newcomb and Doris Claire Hutchens Newcomb.
Over the years Doris had worked as a bookkeeper and accountant for various business along with Sunset Marina in Ocean City, MD. In her free time, she enjoyed playing cards with friends, golf and RVing with her husband, Robert "Bob" E. Kirkner.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son Shaun Kirker of Laurel and her daughter Michelle Kirkner Bromhal of North Carolina; a granddaughter Megdalia; her brother John Newcomb and her sister Catherine Newcomb Dominick, all of Florida.
All services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
