Elsie Belle Harrold's Obituary

Elsie Belle Harrold, age 86 of Seaford, DE, passed away surrounded by her granddaughter and great-grandchildren, on Tuesday, November 3, 2020, at her granddaughter's home in Bucks County, PA. She was born on October 9, 1934 in Bridgeville, DE, daughter of the late Robert and Cora Mae Cannon.
Mrs. Harrold was a homemaker and relished her role as matriarch of her family. She enjoyed spoiling her loved ones with delicious homemade goodies; especially fudge and cookies. Mrs. Harrold loved auctions and yard sales and the unique treasures they provided. Above all, Mrs. Harrold cherished time with those she held most dear. Mrs. Harrold was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. She was loved by many and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Harrold was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Marvin Harrold in December of 1995; her brother, Robert; and her sister, Georgie. She is survived by her daughters: Valerie Adkins of Seaford, DE, Sharon Phillips of Queenstown, MD, and Lisa Teeter of Dover, DE; her grandchildren: Lisa (Adkins) Balent of Bucks County, PA, Steven Adkins of Seaford, DE, Jennifer Phillips of Queenstown, MD, Andrew Teeter of Tampa, FL, and Corey Teeter of IN; her great-grandchildren: Abigail, Zachary, Nathaniel, Connor, Caleb, Colton, Reese, Eli, and Jesse; and her sister, Margaret Billings of Blades, DE.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Blades Cemetery, 10th and Market Streets, Blades, DE.
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, masks must be worn and social distancing protocol must be observed by anyone participating in any aspect of the service.
