George Edward Pentoney's Obituary
In the early morning hours of April 25, 2023, our mother Betty Mae came and picked up her beloved husband, George Edward for the journey home through the gates of the kingdom of God.
Known to family and friends as Ed, he was 92. Husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle, brother, athlete, teacher, craftsman, and artist are among the many roles he represented. One of the grandchildren commented “Pop Pop can fix anything!” He loved to roller skate and dance with his beloved, Betty.
He is predeceased by his wife Betty and survived by their 5 children: Donna Thomas, James R (Ceil), Randall J. (Diane), Teresa A., Karen S.; 8 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; his sister Barbara and brother Richard.
