Glenn Edward Thomas' Obituary
Glenn Edward Thomas, age 65, of Seaford, DE, passed away on Sunday, July 10, 2016 at home. He was born in Nassawadox, VA, on Monday, January 22, 1951, son of the late Hampton and Ida Thomas.
Mr. Thomas worked for over 30 years for the DuPont nylon plant in Seaford and later drove a school bus for K&S Busing. He proudly served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War.
Mr. Thomas was a motorcycle enthusiast, especially Harley Davidson. He belonged to the United Tour Riders and the Delmarva Hogs. He loved music and playing his guitars and was a lifelong Beetles fan. He was an avid Baltimore Ravens and Orioles fan.
Mr. Thomas is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Kathy Pase Thomas of Seaford, DE; his children: Eric Christian Thomas, Sr. of Gainesville, FL, Jason Christopher Thomas and wife Mollie of Seaford, DE, Glenda Carol Braddock and husband Mark of Pansey, AL; his nine grandchildren: Jessica, Eric Jr., Dustin, Alexis, Hannah, Sebastian, Leia, Jack, and Zoey ; 4 great grandchildren; two sisters, Carol Hagan of Parkville, MD and Glenda McCammon of New Orleans, LA; his brother, Kenny Thomas of Salisbury, MD; his brother in law, Keith Pase of Blythe, GA; and his daughter in law, Nicky Thomas of Laurel, DE.
Memorial Services will be held on Thursday, July 14, 2016 at 11:00 AM, at Watson-Yates Funeral Homes, 609 East Kings Street, Seaford, DE 19973, where friends may visit beginning at 10:00 AM. Entombment will follow services at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Millsboro, DE. In lieu of flowers please make donations to "Diakonia homeless shelter", 12747 Old Bridge Rd, Ocean City, MD 21842.
