So saddened to have lost this dear lady. I first met her when we worked at Macy's and then a few years later, we both ended up at Janosik's. She was an extremely hard worker, a terrific cook and one of the most kind-hearted people I have ever known. She was always ready to help someone out or offer a word of encouragement. She let people know everyday how much she cared for them. That was a real gift. The world is a little dimmer without her light.

I wish Jo was as happy as she appeared, but she hid her pain very well. I wish somebody could have gotten through that facade but she wouldn't let us. I hope she is happy now and at peace.
Jo, eternal Peace be with you. God heal our broken hearts.
I worked for Jo at Hecht.'s. She made me feel appreciated and valued. She also had a great work ethic. The world lost a beautiful woman. It was nice knowing you, Jo.
She will be sadly missed. She was a great lady and I loved working with her at Hecht's.
Oh Jo, there are not words to describe how kind, considerate and thoughtful you were. Always quick to share a story, a laugh and a great big hug. You were always there for everyone, a bright beacon of hope for all. You were one of the strongest women I have met, I love you and will never forget all I have learned from you. Till we meet again, hugs, hugs and more hugs

I am so sad. We worked together for many years. She fed me her great potato salad so many times with garden fresh celery. Miss you, JO. God bless.
