Leslie Diana Liberty's Obituary
Leslie Diana Liberty, age 66 of Seaford, DE passed away peacefully with family by her side on Thursday, January 18, 2024, at TidalHealth Nanticoke, in Seaford, DE. She was born on September 15, 1957, in Los Angeles, CA, daughter of the late John L. and Nancy E. (Garabedinn) Senter.
Leslie worked at several different jobs during her career and spoke fondly of those times before settling into a lengthy career as a pyro technician, a job she loved the most. Beyond her professional endeavors, she had a wide range of passions. She enjoyed playing Pogo games and cards, watching TV, listening to music, going on outings to the beach along with country rides, enjoying a good meal somewhere, attending concerts and a trip to the slots here and there. .
She resided at Genesis Seaford Center during her golden years where she met lots of friends who became her family. Leslie took great pride in being the resident council president and gave her time often to helping those in need from family to friends and even staff members at the center.
Faith was a pillar in her life and her trust in God was what helped her get through the toughest of times. While at Genesis, she held Sunday School lessons and Bible studies with other residents.
Leslie was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend. Her memory will continue to bring comfort to those who were fortunate enough to know and love her.
Leslie is survived by her daughters: Melissa (Daniel) Hrupsa, Bernadette (Greg) DeFord; her grandsons: Billy, Brandon (Parker); and her great grandson, Kaison.
