Lil Norton introduced himself to me in October 2011 at the River's End annual bonfire. We had just moved in, and he wanted to welcome us to the neighborhood -- a very warm and gracious welcome. Only much later did I learn how much he had done for our community, helping to found the homeowners' association and serving in various roles on the board, including as president. Now that I'm serving on the board myself, I can appreciate how much he contributed. He was a person who rolled up his sleeves and worked to make the world a better place wherever he was. From all of RIver's End, thank you and bless you, Lil Norton, and deepest sympathy to your family.
