Michael Raymond Tully's Obituary
Michael (Mike) Tully aged 82 of Seaford, DE, formally of Summerhill, PA passed away surrounded by friends and family at Christiana Hospital in Christiana, DE on April 20, 2023.
Mike was born June 9, 1940, in Johnstown, PA, the son of the late Bernard A. and Frances M. (Haberl) Tully.
He attended Adams Summerhill school where he enjoyed sports much more than he did his classes. Following graduation, he was proud to join the United States Army and served his country in Germany.
After his discharge Mike worked several jobs. During this time, he enjoyed "hanging out" at a local riding stable where he became interested in training to become a farrier.
When he moved to Maryland and later Delaware, he became a full-time farrier. He took his trade to customers in Delmarva, making many lifelong friends along the way. In his spare time Mike loved to hunt, fish and travel in his RV. He retired when he was 75.
Mike was preceded in death by a brother, John B. Tully, sisters; Suzanne DiMuzio, Hazel Rager, Patricia Kellum and a baby granddaughter, Christian R. Fenchak. He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Sharon (McGee); his sister Kathleen wife of Joseph Gruss of Summerhill, PA, a son, Charles B. Tully and wife Sherri (Chalmers) of Bridgeville, DE, daughters Ranell wife of Michael Fenchak of Mineral Point, PA, Deanna wife of Doug Unger of PA, and Kimberly wife of John Stevens of Smithfield, VA, Tammy Zack of Seaford, DE and Lisa wife of David Murray of Waldrof, MD; his grandchildren: John Morgan, Amber John, Autumn Tully, Kayla and Aaron Fenchak, Brent and Heather Lowskowski, Colton and Dawson Stevens, Chelsea Davidson, Anthony Zack, D.J., Shane, and Owen Murray; his goddaughter, Jessica Scott; and fourteen wonderful great grandchildren and many beloved nieces and nephews.
