Peter Matthew Schroeder's Obituary
Pete Schroeder, 61, of Seaford, Delaware, passed away on May 10, 2025.
Pete was a devoted husband, brother, uncle, friend, and business owner who will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his loving wife, Elsie Schroeder; his sister, Augusta “Gussie” Schroeder-del Bosque; brothers Joe Schroeder and John Thomas; sister Susan Thomas; and his cherished nephews Joey Schroeder Jr., Josh Schroeder, Nick Schroeder, Francis Byrnes, and Miles Byrnes, along with his niece, Lauren Schroeder-White.
As the owner of a Point of Sale business, Pete was known for his hard work, dedication, and entrepreneurial spirit. He took pride in building his business and serving those around him.
Outside of work, Pete was a huge Washington Redskins fan. He found his greatest joy in the outdoors. He loved hunting, fishing, and spending time in nature. He had a special appreciation for birds and enjoyed observing wildlife and the natural world around him. Whether outdoors on the water, in the woods, or simply appreciating a quiet moment outside, Pete felt most at peace surrounded by nature.
Pete will be remembered for his love of family, his connection to the outdoors, and the many memories he created with those closest to him. His presence will be greatly missed, but his memory will live on in the hearts of his loved ones.
