Dear Nancy & Family -- So sorry to hear of Rich's passing. Ray and I both enjoyed working with him at Fish and Wildlife (his sense of humor was unmatched). So many great memories. You are in our thoughts, hearts and prayers.

We were so sorry to hear of Rich's passing. Rich was a good biologist and a pleasure to work with. He and I came on as biologists around the same time (me jumping over from Fisheries and Rich starting a new career) and he assisted me with some wild turkey work in the southern counties. As the regional superintendent his crews did great work on wildlife management areas in the southern region. There are so many good memories of working with NJDFW. Rich's contributions to conservation in New Jersey are a legacy you can be proud of. We wish you comfort, strenth and good memories.

Rich and I spent many weeks together catching and tagging fawns when we were young biologists working out of Clinton Mgt Area. He was initially assigned to Clinton and because he lived so far away, he lived in the office during the week. Rich never complained, was always cheerful, and just persevered until they gave him a better assignment. Because he was in the south and I was in the north, I didnt see him very often so I am glad that we started out together. He and his family are in my thoughts and prayers. Patty McConnell
