Susan Korosko's Obituary
Susan Korosko, age 59 of Seaford, DE, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Friday, May 26, 2023, at her home. She was born on September 15, 1963, in New Brunswick, NJ, daughter of the late Robert J. and Margaret Ann Korosko.
Sue was a graduate of Monroe Township High School, Class of 1981. She was a Sirenette, a girls’ color guard team based out of the American Legion in Old Bridge and was a talented basketball player, captaining her Senior year team. Sue worked as an animal handler for ER Squibb & Sons, who later merged with Bristol Myers, to become what was then the second largest pharmaceutical manufacturer in the world. Sue had many different interests and hobbies. She was always an animal lover, but had a special affinity towards elephants, horses, and dolphins. Her love of music knew no specific genre, but her all time favorite performer was Elvis Presley. Sue became very involved with buying, selling, and collecting all sorts of treasures, from vintage toys and collectables, to records, CDs, movies, and more. She enjoyed watching movies, particularly horror, comedies, and cartoons, but above all, Sue really loved having a laugh and spending time with her family and friends. She was a loving mother, sister, aunt, niece, and friend who will be forever missed.
Sue is survived by her son, Jacob Fonseca; her brothers: Robert Korosko, Jr. and George Korosko; her uncle, Alan Korosko; and her nieces and nephews: Kelly Korosko, Joseph Korosko, Robert Korosko III, Kimberly Korosko, and Kelsey Korosko.
