Tom and my Dad, Art Lieb worked at Septa together for many years. He was a familiar face to our family. Back in the early 80's my Moms 2 year old nephew Mikey Kearns was stricken with liver cancer. Tom didn't hesitate to help. He had posters made with Mikeys picture on it and chances made. He tried to raise money for the family. His truck had the posters in his back windows. I don't even know if he ever met my Moms brother Robbie and wife Nancy Kearns. It didn't matter to Tom. They were a family that needed help and he did what he could. My family is saddened by his loss and our thoughts are with the O'Neil family.
