True Ever Grace Deen's Obituary
True Ever Grace Deen, the light of her family's world, went to be with her father in Heaven on Wednesday, October 25, 2023. She passed away at Nemours Children's Hospital, in Wilmington, DE with her parents by her side. She was born on Monday, July 20, 2020 in Seaford, DE, daughter of Tahjia Deen and Kierstin Walker.
"Tinker Butt" was a dancing queen who loved music and shaking to a good beat above all else. If "Shake It Off" by Taylor Swift, "You're Welcome" from Moana, or any Beyonce song came on, you couldn't stop True from breaking it down. She was a sassy, smart, loving little girl who always wanted to cuddle and give hugs and "big girl kisses". "Mama", as her daddy so affectionately called her, enjoyed mac and cheese and cupcakes whenever she could. If Blippi, Encanto, or Miss Rachel were on her tablet she was a happy girl and would make you clap along to "Icky Sticky Bubble Gum". When True was wrapped in her pink blanky and her mommy was reading to her, she was loving life.
True never met a stranger and even at 3 years old, made you feel special and loved. She was a bright light to this world who will forever leave her mark on the hearts of everyone she ever met.
In addition to her parents, True is survived by her grandparents: Toccara Baine "Gigi" and Abdul Deen "Pop Pop", Brooke Lyons "GiGi', and Aaron Lyons "GiPa"; her aunts: Camber Walker and Jiana Baine; her uncles: Ryker Lyons and Jeneal Verdieu; and a host of other aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family who loved her more than anything.
