Dear Penny,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you during your time of grief. Van was very talented in wood working, We still have the heirlooms. Van had a keen sense of humor which will be remembered forever! We love love you Penny! Sally Evans and Susan Mason, Smithfield, VA formally of Seaford, DE

Penny, I am so sorry for your loss, my prayers are for God to wrap His loving comforting arms around you and the family during this time. If there is anything you need, no matter the hour, I am here. God's blessings. Teri (Clagg) Lape
Those Sunday afternoons after church, the family gathering for pool fun, conversations and sharing a meal together. Van cooking on the grill, and his with, thats what I remember most about him.
As teenagers, Mr Milligan always opened his home to a houseful of Woodside boys. He was kind to us all and we respected him to the fullest. As an adult, he was just as nice, always willing to offer help and advice if needed. He had a great sense of humor and will be missed by many.
When teenagers Van and I had a lot of fun times together. As we got older we went our septerate ways and yes we both married our high school sweethearts. Van you will be missed by so many. I for one will never forget the good times we had years ago. Our loss on earth is now Heavens gain.
Penny I wish there was something special I could say to you that would bring you comfort -- you and this world lost a wonderful man. Van and I laughted years ago about you and Pam. We laughted because we couldn't understand how we got so lucky to end up with two wonderful women that would put up with us. Penny God Bless you and your family. As for me I'll keep Van in my heart along with my other special old friends.
