David R. Peterson's Obituary

David R. Peterson, age 39 of Seaford, DE, passed away on Sunday, May 12, 2019 at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital. He was born in Clearwater, FL on January 6, 1980 of Joan E. (Snyder) Peterson and the late William L. Peterson.
Dave was a graduate of Largo High School, Class of 1998. He went on to build a career in retail managment, most recently working as a store manager for Walgreen's. Dave loved all things outdoors, camping being among his favorite activities and he had a soft spot for animals, especially those of the canine persuasion. A Coca-Cola aficionado, rarely was Dave seen without his favorite drink in hand. More than anything, however, he really cherished time spent with those he held dear. He was a loving and devoted husband, son, brother, uncle, and nephew, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his father, Dave was preceded in death by his grandparents, Marion and Raymond Snyder. He is survived by his beloved wife, Maidelis Peterson of Seaford, DE; his mother, Joan E. Peterson of Seaford, DE; his brother, William "Rich" Peterson and his wife Amy of Safety Harbor, FL; his niece, Emma Peterson of Safety Harbor, FL; his nephew, Angelo Russo of Clearwater, FL; and his aunt and uncle, Shirley and Edward Sentman of Mount Laurel, NJ.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, May 16, 2019 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Watson-Yates Funeral Home, a member of the Parsell Funeral Family, 609 East King Street; Seaford, DE. All other services will be private.
