Dear Scott and family. So sorry to hear about your Mom. It's hard to put into words all the memories I have of working with her at DSN. I went to work with her in 1964. We worked in the facility on State Street. She and I did the classified ads. She was sharp. Very precise, but always courteous. Her trademark was wearing a single silk flower at the neck opening of her blouses. Always fair...the realtors liked her handling their ads and asked for her every time. Back then we took the ads by hand and typed them up for the type setters.l Then we both got jobs at Capital School District. We worked in different buildings so we didn't get to see much of each other...mostly at our meetings. She was like a second mother to me for a while, and I loved her. You had her for a long time...you were a devoted son, and I'm sure she appreciated you. God bless you.
